That’s not good enough!

Another of my favourite sayings, that I picke up just a few weeks ago. You can use it to create powerful sarcastic message.

Imaging that you tell your manager that sometimes, when it’s not busy, your colleagues start friendly banter and you don’t feel included. The response you’re getting is: why don’t you go to that room at the end of the hallway where all the old files are kept and tidy it up?

That makes you feel really furious! You want to scream!

Don’t do that, say this instead: so you’re saying that as a reasonable adjustment for my disability I should do more work than my colleagues? That’s not good enough!

That should hopefully get the manager to think. Anyway, good luck.
