I had an online work training today and one of the topic was basic life support. The trainer stated that if someone is unconscious we need to approach them from their feet. I must admit here that, although I work in care for around 15 years, I’ve never heard about it.

The trainer then asked why that is and the only response that my autistic brain came up with was ‘so that they could kick us’. I then was so focused on not saying that that I completely forgot the real reason.
