I just saw this quote on Facebook: Courage is knowing it may hurt and doing it anyway. Stupidity is the same. And that’s why life is hard.

I couldn’t agree more. My late mum told me that when I was a toddler I insisted on walking into nettles that were somewhere around our farm. I’d end up crying but the next time I saw nettles I did exactly the same.

Was it courage or stupidly? Obviously as an adult I wouldn’t walk into nettles again (mind you, I never see them where I live) but there are other ways one can hurt themselves.
