I managed to get another 3h of sleep but woke up with a headache and the same strange pressure around the heart that I used to get every morning for several months after I went off pregabalin. It was never confirmed by doctors this was from pregabalin withdrawal, more over they didn’t seem to know pregabalin can cause withdrawal syndrome, but apparently symptoms can last for a couple of years. I went off it in February 2019, so two and half years ago. First 14 months were absolute nightmare.

I had to be put on it because I used to have panic attacks every single day due to the situation with The Company and my employment tribunal claim. I was petrified that someone may believe that I had a private diagnosis. Even after I dropped my claim I was too scared to come back to the UK and start living a normal life. At the time pregabalin really helped.
