I must say I quite like BBC website. It’s so easy to get news from there. But sometimes it feels to me like things don’t add up in their articles. I read a story about reproductive coercion today where a female said that every time she wanted to do something to be more independent, like getting a job, her partner would get her pregnant. But there was no explanation what happened later. ‘Every time’ sounds like a lot. So what was happening with those babies? Could they afford to have that any children, was their house big enough? Or did they give them to adoption? It’s really strange that a journalist wouldn’t want to answer those questions. Or maybe they didn’t want as the story wouldn’t add up? So although I like BBC website for convenience, I think we could do a bit better, especially as UK is a free country.
