I came accross the term microagression today and I understood that when I ask someone at work for clarification on how to do a task and they get funny with me, only because I was direct, that is microagression. I was aware of that term before but somehow didn’t see it applies to my experience. And I guess a lot of people don’t.

The above article discuss microagression giving examples of people of colour, LGBT and women, and it is a good article in general but microagression towards autistic people is not mentioned.

It looks to me, in general, that although the awarness of autism is growing, we are still not being heard if discussion is not autism related. It looks like people have a lot to learn.
