I do admit, I’m angry with my mum. I told her multiple times not to leave the UK without me, but she got totally obsessed with coming back to Smardzewice, so shortly after quarantine was lifted for travellers who are vaccinated I booked her the flight ticket and arranged for transport to the airport.

I asked her multiple times that she may be better off staying in her friend’s guesthouse, but mum said no, she said she has her own house! Ten days later she had that accident. I never found out what happened. There are two people involved but three versions. It makes you think, doesn’t it?

I don’t know what to do now. Can somebody tell me? I wish I’d never have to make those decisions.
